At the Bridge, we love our community and love giving back to it. We look, wherever we can, for opportunity to serve and help and show Jesus' love to the people in and around Elizabeth. To continue with this tradition, we will be re-launching A Helping Hand—a monthly service project for the community.
This is our way of showing the people of Elizabeth how much we love them, and we’re asking YOU to get involved!
Each month the Bridge will offer a different service opportunity such as cleaning up local streets, visiting senior centers, feeding the needy, and lending A Helping Hand just about wherever we can.

For the month of November, you have two opportunities to give back and lend A Helping Hand:
1. Thanksgiving can drive
We will be doing a can collection at each of our Bridge locations for two weeks. All you need to do is bring canned goods of non-perishable foods to your Bridge location and drop it in our special YES YOU CAN box. You can bring as much as you want on either of the two days that we will be collecting. It’s a small step that goes a long way.
After we have collected the canned food, groups from The Bridge will then sort and arrange them and then go out and deliver them to families in need in the City of Elizabeth. If you ever wondered if you could help, then answer is YES YOU CAN!

2. COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING MEAl
Thanksgiving is a day where people gather together with loved ones to share a meal and remember all the things we are thankful for. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to spend their holiday in that way. Every year, Christ Fellowship puts on a special meal for those in the Elizabeth community who are not so fortunate to enjoy a warm meal, and the Bridge will be be there to help out!
Last year we had a decent turn out of Bridge members who decided to spend their Thanksgiving morning showing Jesus' love to others. This year, let's pack the place with Bridge helpers to support our church and community.

Location: The Liberty Center, 1121 Elizabeth Avenue
Time: 10am - 1pm (arrive at 9am for setup)
