One other first for The Bridge: North Elizabeth... it was there that Bridge, Jr began. Short story: The Bridge was always designed for students between 6th and 12th grade, but when N. Eliz. began, many elementary school students continued to show up weekly and lie about their age. Instead of turning them away, we decided to expand The Bridge down to elementary school, and thus Bridge, Jr was born. Soon thereafter, Jr expanded to all the other Bridge locations.
