Hey guys! We miss you. We know a lot of stuff is going on in the world right now, and you might be questioning where God is. But he has promised us he is with us, even in the storms. He has promised us he is close to the broken-hearted. He has promised us that he loves us, and NOTHING can get in the way of that love. So we want to let you know we love you the way God loves you. Happy birthday to The Bridge! Exactly 20 years ago, at 7:30pm on Friday, June 02, 2000, The Bridge first opened its doors. We started small, with just four leaders and eight students, but things started to grow. We opened our second location in 2003. We moved into school gyms in 2004. Today, we serve students all over the city of Elizabeth. Over the years we’ve seen lots of students come and go. We’ve watched hundreds of you join us in 6th grade and then had the privilege of seeing you graduate high school. We’ve shared stories and laughs at our home small groups. We’ve served our city with you in the E-Town Mission. We’ve encountered God with you at our BYMC retreats. We’ve had fun with you in our Bridge Friday program. We’ve tried to take our relationship with God deeper with you in The Sanctuary and Bridge United. 
So many faces. So many stories. So many memories. And we cherish each and every one. Today is our 20th birthday, and we feel honored to have been a part of your life in any way that we could over those two decades, but we also can’t wait to see what God has in store for the next 20 years. We can’t wait to see those of you still in The Bridge grow up and take on the world. Maybe some of you will become the Bridge leaders of the future. We can’t wait to meet those of you who haven’t even joined The Bridge yet. We’re so excited for what is to come. This week, to celebrate our 20th birthday, we’re having a special edition of The Bridge Show. This Friday we’re going to have our original four Bridge leaders - @carlitocedeno, @jennifercedeno, Brian Mayfield, and @williamhartz - on to share The Bridge’s story, catch up, and celebrate all that God has done over the past two decades.
