The hub of The Bridge's work is our Friday night program.  Since day one, The Bridge has provided a place for teenagers to go on Friday nights in Elizabeth.  We currently meet in six different concurrent locations every Friday night in Schools 07, 12, 19, 23, and 30 as well as in The Liberty Center.  

On Fridays we offer both a program for elementary students and one for middle and high school students.

Bridge, Jr, our elementary program, is for students in grades 2 - 5 and meets from 6pm until 7pm.

The Bridge is our middle/high school program and is for students grades 6 - 12.  They meet from 7pm until 8:30pm.

Every student is required to bring a filled-out and signed Parent Consent Form, giving them permission to attend the program.  No student will be allowed to enter The Bridge without a completed form.

Bridge: Elmora was the second Bridge ever, opening on April 04, 2003 and was the only Bridge besides Midtown to meet in a building other than a school.

FUN FACT:

In 2004, Bridge: North Elizabeth first opened its doors on Tuesday nights in Robert Morris School No. 18.  It continued there until the end of the 2015-2016 Bridge year.  In 2016, the old Bridge: North Elizabeth and Bridge: Uptown (School 16) both closed and were combined into the new Bridge: North Elizabeth in School 30.

Bridge: Twenty-Three first opened as The Bridge: Bayway, which met in Thomas Edison Career & Technical Academy, moved to Mabel G Holmes School No. 5, and then Joseph Battin School No. 4 before being relocated out of Bayway and into School No. 23.
